This carefully curated 12‑day tour weaves together the 8,000‑year‑old tradition of winemaking, iconic landmarks, and immersive cultural experiences. From Kakheti’s sun‑dappled vineyards and secret Soviet‑era relics to the dramatic landscapes of Racha and Batumi’s Black Sea shores, every day reveals a new story. Along the way, you’ll enjoy multiple guided tastings—from Qvevri‑aged wine to Chacha—participate in culinary workshops, and dine in family‑run Oda houses that epitomize Georgian hospitality.

 

Day 1 – Arrival

Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport and transfer to your hotel. After check‑in, enjoy welcome dinner with traditional Georgian dance and music.

Day 2 – Tbilisi City Tour

Explore historic Old Town on foot, then visit the Tbilisi Auto Museum, featuring rare Soviet‑era cars, and Stalin’s Underground Printing House (1903–06). Lunch at “Dukani.” Post‑lunch, tour the Museum of Soviet Occupation (1921–91), then ride the cable car to Mtatsminda Park for panoramic views over coffee. Evening dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 – Rustavi & KGB Hidden Zone

After breakfast, take a Jeep tour to Rustavi, a key Soviet industrial center built with WWII POW labor. Enjoy lunch in a local home with homemade wine. Explore Pobeda, a KGB communication‑blocking zone. (No mobile service—bring ID.) Weather permitting, visit border lakeside Jandari. Return to Tbilisi for dinner.

Day 4 – Kakheti: Monasteries & Wine Tunnels

Drive to Kakheti. Visit Bodbe Monastery (St. Nino’s shrine), then the hilltop town of Sighnaghi. After lunch, tour Khareba Winery’s 7.5 km wine tunnel, enjoy tastings and a culinary workshop. Dinner amid Kakheti’s countryside.

Day 5 – Kakheti: Chavchavadze Estate & Chronicle

Visit Tsinandali’s Chavchavadze Estate (1886), once a cultural salon for Dumas, Pushkin, Lermontov, and others. Tour the museum, gardens and taste estate wines. Lunch at a nearby family winery. En route back to Tbilisi, stop at Zurab Tsereteli’s monumental Chronicle of Georgia. Dinner in Tbilisi.

Day 6 – Mtskheta, Gori & Kutaisi

Morning tour in Mtskheta: see UNESCO sites Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery. Lunch at Salobie in an authentic Oda house. Visit Shato Mukhrani estate, tour vineyards and cellars. Next, explore the Stalin Museum in Gori—his childhood home and rail carriage. Continue to Kutaisi for evening check‑in and dinner.

Day 7 – Kutaisi, Tskaltubo & Ambrolauri

Explore Kutaisi’s ancient city sights, then head to Tskaltubo’s Soviet spa ruins. Drive through Imereti highlands to Tkibuli, arriving in Ambrolauri by evening. Enjoy dinner featuring local Racha mountain ingredients.

Day 8 – Racha: Oni, Shovi & Wine

Morning in Oni: explore old town and historic synagogue. Visit Shovi’s Stalin-era summer residence. Lunch at Barakoni Winery near Barakoni Church with local varietals. Afternoon at scenic Shaori Reservoir. Drive toward Zugdidi in Samegrelo.
Overnight: Zugdidi

Day 9 – Zugdidi, Enguri Dam & Batumi

Tour Dadiani Palace and gardens in Zugdidi. Visit the UNESCO‑listed Enguri Dam, includes guided tour and optional boat ride. Continue to coastal Batumi for evening check‑in and dinner.
Overnight: Batumi

Day 10 – Batumi City Exploration

Stroll Batumi Boulevard, Europe Square, and Piazza Square. Ride the Anuria Mountain cable car. Afternoon options: visit Batumi Botanical Garden or wander the stylish city streets. Dinner at leisure.

Day 11 – Adjara Wine & Black Sea Cruise

After breakfast, head to a local Adjara winery for lunch with wine tasting and an expert lecture on Georgian winemaking and gastronomy. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on the Black Sea. Return to Batumi for seaside dinner.

After breakfast, transfer to Batumi or Tbilisi Airport for your departure.

  • To confirm the reservation, a 30% advance payment is required. The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 25 days prior to arrival.

 

  • If the booking is canceled less than 40 days before the scheduled arrival, the 30% deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations made more than 40 days in advance, the deposit will be fully refunded.
